People & Culture Business Partner (Leeds)

Fólk is proud to be partnering with an award-winning Financial Services client based in the heart of Leeds, as they embark on an exciting period of change within their People & Culture function.

We’re looking to speak to strong HR generalists who are currently working at an HR Advisor or Junior HR Business Partner level that want to learn, develop and progress in their careers within a supportive, fast paced and progressive business.

Reporting to an inspiring and passionate leader who loves to see their team develop and succeed, you will be responsible for owning the entire employee lifecycle encompassing onboarding, retention, engagement, wellbeing, diversity and culture and values.

You will business partner with several teams and be expected to balance the BAU work but also manage and deliver against HR projects, alongside a team of two other Junior People Partners.

Our Client has a relaxed, open and positive culture that they’re immensely proud of but as always, there are improvements that can be made, and your role will help drive this change.

Ideally, you will be qualified to Level 5 CIPD (or on your way to doing this) and be comfortable working a few days a week in the office and the rest at home. Some monthly travel/overnight stays would be expected in this role as it’s important to build relationships with stakeholders and collaborate.

We’re keen to speak to individuals who are tenacious, good with HR data and someone that can be flexible in their approach. You must be a good communicator and thrive on building stakeholder relationships to deliver HR best practices whilst working in the grey. A commercially astute person with a good dollop of humour wouldn’t go a miss either!
