Junior People Partner

Working as part of a closely-knit team of 7, and reporting to the People Director, you will provide high quality and commercial Business Partnering and advice to the Senior Management Team and managers across the business and support in the delivery of strategic people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full generalist HR and People Support Service to the region.
  • Collaborate closely with Area Sales Managers and the wider People team to deliver proactive, commercial and value adding People support to the Region, driving engagement and motivation to improve performance and grow talent across the region.
  • Lead and embed change plans aligned to regional KPIs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Regional leaders to create and implement a regional people strategy with clear actions and KPIs.
  • Support and coach teams to engage and inspire their branch management teams to deliver a world class customer journey.
  • Drive talent and succession as a regional strategy to balance internal and external people appointments.
  • Effective implementation of people changes and projects in conjunction with the People Experience Advisor and regional management/leadership teams.
  • Quarterly Talent Review of all People Managers in region with robust development plans for all.
  • Lead on Acquisitions in Region
  • Leading on People projects for the wider business and be the subject matter expert for all people queries.
  • Manage successful people integration of acquisitions with your region.
  • Be first point of contact for all HR related queries within your region, providing proactive, effective and legally compliant guidance to people managers.

We’re looking for a commercially minded HR Professional who brings maturity of thinking and experience of operating in a multi-site business (e.g. Retail, Leisure, Hospitality) where you have worked with everyone from frontline, operational employees through to the executive team.

The demands of this role are such that we are looking for someone who can work full-time and can travel nationally although this may only be once or twice per month. You will be in the office (easily commutable from North Leeds/ Bradford) 3 days per week.
