HR Business Partner - London (City) based

Hands up who loves travelling?! We certainly do and we're excited to be working with a fast-paced, global travel organisation which genuinely places people are at the heart of everything they do. The UK and european region (headcount c 500) requires a new HR Business Partner to deliver a well-rounded, first class, professional and timely HR service to all stakeholders both internally and externally. In doing so, you will provide advice, support and guidance to employees at different levels covering the full employee lifecycle, in a fast-paced environment.

This role would suit someone who is currently in a Senior HR Advisor role or who is looking to progress their HRBP experience, with the appetite to keep learning, developing and progressing in their career.

Building close professional working relationships with all your stakeholders, you have a clear understanding of the local and regional business plans as well as their HR implications, to provide the best solution with a commercial focus. Alongside this, your other main focus will be to be considered as the centre of expertise for the HR system and you will also be supporting the Head of HR on a wide range of regional/global projects. Using data alongside different techniques and interventions, you will be supporting managers to manage their teams more effectively whilst improving employee engagement overall. You will also be line managing the HR Assistant (also based at the London office).

You’ll need to be someone who is approachable and enjoys building face-to-face relationships at all levels. You enjoy working in fast paced, office environments, and can work to tight deadlines.

When it comes to technical skills, the following are key:

• Strong demonstrable HR skills, knowledge and experience to cover the full employee lifecycle.
• Strong aptitude for HR systems; experience as an HRIS administrator beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and up-to-date with key HR best practices overall
• The ability to generate key MI reports and analyse data with confidence

Ideally, you will be qualified to Level 5 or 7 CIPD (or on your way to doing this) and be comfortable working a few days a week in the office for a minimum of 3 days.

We’re keen to speak to people who are great at building relationships and getting the best from people, as well as being good with HR data.
