HR Business Partner (projects)

Are you an HR Business Partner or Manager who enjoys making a significant impact in a short timescale?

We're recruiting for an HR Change specialist to help our Client transition to a fully operational employee self-service framework, within 12 months.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of revolutionising how employees interact with HR, moving the organisation from a highly hands-on HR business partner (HRBP) model to a streamlined, employee self-service operating model that eliminates the need for HR to handle routine processes. Whilst the headcount of the organisation isn’t huge (c 120 employees), there are currently lots of ad hoc arrangements in place and this transformation will represent a significant organisational change, ultimately requiring up-skilling of a large degree of the management population within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as an effective HR business partner to meet current needs and aligning HR function processes with Next Gen Organisation Strategy.
  • Conducting a thorough review of existing HR policies, updating them where necessary, and developing new policies as required.
  • Designing and implementing robust processes and user-friendly guides for employees and managers to ensure smooth adoption of the self-serve model.

Alongside leading this HR Change programme, you will also undertake BAU HR activities such as providing expert advice to managers on employee relations matters, supporting Managers with Recruitment, managing the UK training budget, running the employee engagement survey, supporting organisational change etc.

About you:

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in policy development and process improvement. Expertise in ER and UK employment law is also essential.

You are someone who has previously delivered projects and can quickly build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. It is highly likely that you have a relevant professional qualification or certifications in HR.

Whilst our Client follows a hybrid working model, you are someone who sees the benefit of being in the office with your colleagues c 3 days per week.
