HR Assistant

We’re looking for an ambitious HR Administrator (or someone with a year or so’s experience in a dedicated HR post) who is seeking a broader role, which can offer great career development.

Our Client is a fast-paced, global organisation operating in the leisure/ retail space. Supported by a broader L&D and Talent Acquisition teams, the central HR team is a small team which delivers a great HR service to all employees across the business.

In you role as HR Assistant, you will take full ownership of the onboarding process from sending offers of employment paperwork to helping deliver inductions.

The role will certainly not be limited to Onboarding however….

You will provide administrative and general support for the Human Resources function; dealing with queries from managers and employees (including daily review and management of the HR ticketing service), maintaining HR files and systems, producing HR documentation such as offer packs, contracts etc, acting as the main point of contact between other functions such as Benefits and Payroll, producing HR reports etc.

This is an extremely varied (and busy!) role which requires good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and activities successfully in a timely manner.

You must have proven technical experience as an HR Administrator or as a Co-Ordinator and your experience to date will have given you exposure onboarding processes.

Due to majority of employees being site-based, our Client is seeking to hire someone who enjoys being in the office on a full-time basis. Once you have got to grips with the role, systems etc, there is however scope to work from home from time to time although the HR team have found they work more effectively by being together in the office.

Our Client is looking to hire relatively quickly, so it will be advantageous in your application if you are immediately available or on a 1-month notice period.
