Fólk Recruitment is partnering with a global manufacturing business, based in East Yorkshire, as they look to appoint a Senior HR Officer to help their Head of HR in providing a full HR service across all functions from support/ head office teams through to manufacturing/ operations. In order to build trusted relationships, it is expected that you will go into the office 3 days per week.

As the HR Officer you will:
- Assist line managers in resolving a range of HR issues (e.g. recruitment, employee relations, compensation)
- Manage you own employee relations case load, providing Manager with advice that that is legally compliant, ethical and in the best interests of the business
- Provide recruitment support
- Participate in benchmarking surveys
- Lead and support on ad hoc HR projects across the organisation, ranging from L&D activities, Recruitment, Organisation Development etc
- Support the HR team in reviewing, developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, always looking for new and improved ways of working
- Work with the wider HR Team, to develop and implement the engagement strategy
This is a developmental role and is suited to someone who is both ambitious and can possesses business / commercial awareness. Given the generalist nature of this role, it is essential that you can evidence a solid grounding in HR as well as a good understanding of UK employment law.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD level 5 qualified and enjoys operating in a professional, head office type environment where you can expect to be challenged.
